File:Satellite image of the Ayeyarwady delta.jpg
Thanks for letting me know, I have searched the original source for the image: http://visibleearth.nasa.gov/view.php?id=52762. There is a problem because the image is obtained by the SeaWiFS sensor and according to the terms of use: All SeaWiFS, OrbView and IKONOS imagery are controlled by the GeoEye group (http://www.geoeye.com), and permission for use must be requested of them directly. The file should be deleted.Cameta (talk) 20:04, 21 December 2011 (UTC)
Dates on files transferred from Wikipedia
Would you mind using internationalised dates (using {{ISOdate}}) for images transferred from Wikipedia, like File:Tata Consultancy Services Vadapalani 2.JPG (which I've added this to), rather than Polish? —innotata 21:52, 23 December 2011 (UTC)

Undeletion requests
Thank you for taking my suggestions for filing the undeletion requests for the various coat of arms for Germany. I made a sub-section for you at http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Undeletion_requests/Current_requests#Otto_Hupp_Undeletion_Requests so make your request as normal, but use a third level header (===) instead of a two level header (==). Thanks again. User:Zscout370 (Return fire) 19:50, 30 December 2011 (UTC)
- What is there now will work very good. I am going to ask for help from other admins to look at the requests. User:Zscout370 (Return fire) 20:00, 30 December 2011 (UTC)
Autopatrol given
Hello. I just wanted to let you know that I have granted autopatrol rights to your account; the reason for this is that I believe you are sufficiently trustworthy and experienced to have your contributions automatically sighted. This will have no effect on your editing, and is simply intended to help users watching Recent changes and/or Recent uploads to find unproductive edits amidst the productive ones. Thank you. -- RE rillke questions? 17:37, 14 January 2012 (UTC)

You're now a filemover
Welcome, Dear Filemover!
Hi Bulwersator, you're now a filemover. When moving files please respect the following advice:
- Use the CommonsDelinker link in the {{rename}} template to order a bot to replace all ocurrences of the old title with the new one.
- Please do not tag redirects as {{speedy}}. Other projects, like InstantCommons, might be using the file even though they don't show up in the global usage. Deleting the redirects would break their file references.
- Please know and follow the file rename guidelines.

Czy twój jest plik, czy zdjęcie
I jedno i drugie. Ja osobiście zrobiłem zdjęcie i ja je obrobiłem cyfrowo. Ale temat już chyba upadł, chodziło o rodzaj licencji, że nie dzieło, ale dokument.Ziuk1867 (talk) 11:11, 30 January 2012 (UTC)
HotCat and auto-save
If you want a HotCat that always auto-saves, you don't need to copy the whole gadget. Instead, you could just enable the gadget and replace your copy in User:Bulwersator/common.js by the code shown at Help:Gadget-HotCat#Intercepting the page edit HotCat will make. That gives you the best of both worlds: you'll automatically have any fixes that are made to the gadget, and it'll always auto-save for you. Lupo 20:49, 2 February 2012 (UTC)

Commons:Village_pump#Hotcat_and_Category:Media_needing_category_review
Hi, are you using HotCat in multi-cat-mode or in singe-cat-mode? -- RE rillke questions? 19:19, 3 February 2012 (UTC)
- Not important.
- User:Rillke/checkCat.js for your special needs.
- Adds a cats are ok - link to the category-section
- Removes the "check categories template" from the file-page when categorizing with HotCat.

Thanks
Thanks very much for the informations! I know HotCat, good idea, i didn't think to use it in commons too ;-). For the licence, now i uploaded a pic but i have problem with the license, I could edit later beacuse with the tag "Free screenshot|template=GPL" I had this message: This does not seem to be valid wikitext, or does not contain a license. The preview is ok, but i cannot save it.. --Kirk39 (talk) 01:04, 11 February 2012 (UTC)
Revert
Oh, what do you mean by [this]? The image is changed so much than I cannot claim myself its author. I made the photo about anti-governmental activity. As soon as it was made a chauvinist anti-people image, I cannot stay its author.--PereslavlFoto (talk) 00:01, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
- I am not the author. In my image there was a political slogan about government. Now they make this image a chauvinist one with an anti-Semitic slogan, so I cannot stay its author. The sense of my photo was different. As soon as the sense of photo is completely changed, this is a derivative.--PereslavlFoto (talk) 08:32, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
Deprecated License
Hello. Thank you for uploading Image:Van Jacobson2.jpg, however the license that you have uploaded it under has been deprecated. Please could you select a new free license that describes the rights of the image correctly? If you are not able to do this, the image will be deleted in 7 days.
For more information on licenses that can be used on Wikimedia Commons, please see Commons:Licensing. If you have any questions, please ask at the village pump. Thank you for your patience and consideration. This is an automatic message by Nikbot.--Filnik 16:56, 27 February 2012 (UTC)
Avelino Cadilla
Hello Bulwersator, I saw you told me there was a deletion request for one of the files I have uploaded (Commons:Deletion requests/File:Avelino Cadilla n. 1153 - 1941.jpg); I have answered there. As I have written in the deletion request, I think the file should not be deleted, since it is actually a photograph and not a drawing. I really hope that the file will not be deleted, since I used the correct license. :-) --Triple 8 (msg) 11:39, 29 February 2012 (UTC)

File rename
Hi Bulwersator,
I noticed that you renamed File:Maria Wittekówna.jpg. I was wondering which reason from Commons:File_renaming#What_files_should_be_renamed.3F this is based on. Would you clarify? Any file renames at Commons should be in line with this guideline. In case of doubt, editing the file description is preferable. -- Docu at 12:16, 15 March 2012 (UTC)
- <moved>
"Maria Wittekowna" and "Maria Wittekówna" looks similar, but there are completely different names (ó is the same sound as u and completely different than o), so it is a "5. correct obvious errors in file names". It may be a bit more complicated as ó is sometimes unavailable, in situations like this ó is usually replaced with o. Bulwersator (talk) 23:16, 15 March 2012 (UTC)
- <moved>
-
- You renamed it from
- File:Maria Wittekówna.jpg
- to
- File:Maria Wittekówna - grób.jpg
- It seems it was already spelled correctly. Please don't rename without a valid reason. -- Docu at 07:09, 17 March 2012 (UTC)
CheckCategories auto-removal script now included in HotCat
Hello Bulwersator, thanks for testing User:Rillke/checkCat.js. This script is now available by default with HotCat. Please remove this line from your User:Bulwersator/common.js. When now categorizing with HotCat and a {{check categories}} is found, script will prompt what to do. To restore the old behavior without prompting, simply click on Don't ask again and then on Remove {{check categories}} when editing using HotCat without prompting, wait until the yellow box disappears and confirm. That's all.
Kind regards RE rillke questions? 12:30, 21 March 2012 (UTC)
File:Little Girl + glasses.JPG
| File deletion warning | File:Little Girl + glasses.JPG has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry. If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. |

Template:PD-Afghanistan
Please do not remove code without prior discussion. You just removed all categorization effect from all images which is a significant collateral damage.
All images tagged with PD-Afghanistan needs to undergo a review as we realized recently that Afghanistan has a copyright law. Images not old enough per Afghanistan are the only ones that "fail". These images will undergo a second review and will not be speedy deleted unless it is clear they aren't salvageable.
Documentation is clear on the template itself.

Dinosaurs on pl.wiki
Fastily never edited pl.wiki; he is not editing much at all these days, and mass-reverts by a newcomer never look good to the regular editors. Thus if I were you, I would just go and revert CommonsDelinker as soon as possible, not waiting for help (or ask for help on pl.wiki, not here). Cheers. - It is trivial to create page "This user is an administrator on Wikimedia Commons. (verify)" and revert bot with edit summary "restoring undeleted images" Bulwersator (talk) 11:13, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
