ich bin jetzt ein wenig verwirrt über die Schnelligkeit der Reaktionen bei Wikipedia. Ich bin gerade dabei, das Formular auszufüllen für die Lizenz des Fotos und möchte es morgen an die zuständige permissions-Stelle schicken.

Es ist kein Problem, wenn Ihr dazwischen das Foto löscht, ich kann es ja nach Genehmigung wieder hochladen.

Ist es möglich, dass Sie in der Zwischenzeit das Bild runternehmen und den Text freischalten mit der Bitte um Info wie ich die Kategorien einfügen kann.

That's about as good a name as I can think of :) I tend to use descriptions only when I have some additional information that cannot be gleaned from name, categories and obvious picture parts. Actually I did inform the uploader but accidently on her user page and since FOP is a form of copyright violation, it does very well qualify for speedy deletion (I have seen images being speedily deleted for that). You are right thought that case law permits buildings in a photo as long as they are is "accessory compared to the main represented or handled subject". But can you tell that File:SNV87176-Paris 13e - place Henri-Langlois - entrée de métro.JPG was only meant to show the Métro sign? De728631 (talk) 00:40, 9 June 2011 (UTC)

FOP issues often need a broader view, because there can be various reasons not to delete a file. We have to reckon with the threshold of originality and also the FOP issue may be DM. FOP issues always need a regular DR. I consider you informed of that from now. Jcb (talk) 07:13, 9 June 2011 (UTC)

Was meine anderen, zum Teil recht alten Bilder betrifft, hast Du recht: die habe ich nicht selbst gemacht, besitze aber als Erbe die Rechte daran, habe sie digitalisiert und fand daher den "own-work"-button noch am passendsten. Muss ich für jedes einzelne Bild, das ich vorhabe hochzuladen, so ein OTRS-Formular ausfüllen?

Ich habe die Datei mit der von Dir empfohlenen Software neu erstellt; die alte ist in der File History noch zu sehen. Ist das problematisch? Ich habe auch nirgendwo eine Möglichkeit gefunden, Dateien selbst zu löschen - könntest Du mit den Weg weisen?

Ich bräuchte mal Hilfe: Ich habe eine Kategorie "Coats of arms of the Bundeswehr -Auslandseinsätze" erstellt und wollte darunter weitere Unterkategorien für KFOR, SFOR, ISAF und IFOR erstellen. Leider sind alle Versuche fehlgeschlagen - auch die Wiki-Hilfen haben mich nicht weitergebracht. Was mache ich falsch? Jetzt habe ich 5 Seiten unter der Kategorie erstellt, aber keine Unterkategorien um dort dann die Bilder entsprechend einzufügen. Hi, Thanks for the message. The Upload File Wizard has automatically assigned that license and there are no alternate options in the Wizard. If you want a better license on files as they are uploaded then you need to get those options added to the Wizard. When and if I have time I will come back to these files and amend them as requested, but this is not going to happen in the next couple of days. But the old form won't let me upload multiple files at once. When I'm doing all the images from the same book then they all have the same category, source, and year, similar names and description and, often, the same creator. It's much easier to copy/paste those details through a multiple file form in the wizard than to type the same information 47 times (in this instance).
