Hi JÄNNICK Jérémy,
Please include the source information of the image if a source is given on the image's description page. For example: en:Image:Mantiscoaster.JPG "|Source=self-made". Because the image description page will be deleted I've included "own work by Cmedinger" to Mantis 04.JPG. Moreover you can use [[:en:User:Cmedinger|Cmedinger]] to create a link to the english userpage which looks - in my opiion - much nicer. I've also included {{self|cc-by-sa-3.0|author=Cmedinger}} so that it's clear that Cmedinger is the author. If files are only licenced under GFDL you can also use {{GFDL-user-w}}. Be sure that you know how to use it and read Template:GFDL-user-w

Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.

Here's how:

1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:

2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.

[[Category:Category name]]

For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:

[[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]

[[Category:Comets]]

This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".

When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations"). Pro-tip: The CommonSense tool can help you find the best category for your image.

Vous serait-il possible d'indiquer, quand celui-ci est connu, le nom de l'auteur, c'est à dire du photographe sur la ligne |author= comme je viens de le faire dans ce fichier ?

Bonjour. En fait, depuis le téléversement de cette image, qui état l'une de mes premières, j'ai changé mon système de nommage des fichiers, qui correspond désormais à Ville - Fosse, précision. Ainsi, je ne souhaitais pas réutiliser le nom de ce fichier, d'autant plus que l'on écrit Nœux et pas Noeux, qu'il s'agit de la fosse n° 3 - 3 bis, et des mines de Nœux, pas de Noeux. J'applique ce système de nommage des fichiers à tout le bassin minier, ce qui est bien plus pratique pour le classement et l'organisation. JÄNNICK Jérémy (talk) 17:23, 19 November 2010 (UTC)

Certes, mais il est possible de renommer un fichier directement (seuls les administrateurs peuvent le faire mais tu peux le demander en apposant {{rename|le nom que tu veux avec l'extension}}). Là encore, c'est plus propre, car l'ancien nom renvoit vers le nouveau. En l'occurrence, quel nom souhaites-tu pour ce fichier ?--Bapti ✉ 09:13, 20 November 2010 (UTC)

Bonjour, je ne connaissais pas en effet ces possibilités, il faut dire que je suis le plus souvent sur Wikipédia. Le nom que je souhaiterais est File:Nœux-les-Mines - Fosse n° 3 - 3 bis des mines de Nœux (F).jpg, le nom que j'avais donné au fichier nouvellement téléversé. J'attire aussi ton attention que j'ai créé beaucoup de catégories sur les mines ne possédant qu'un ou deux fichiers. Ça peut paraître bizarre, ou être déconseillé, mais ces catégories seront étoffées dans les mois ou les années à venir, notamment à l'été 2011. Auparavant, je regroupait tout par compagnie, mais il est venu un moment où c'était difficile de s'y retrouver au niveau des images. Category:Bassin minier du Nord-Pas-de-Calais est une catégorie mère. Y aurait-il un système pour savoir à tout moment le nombre total de fichiers contenus dans ses sous-catégories ? OK, c'est renommé.

Pour le nombre de documents dans une catégorie, il y a {{PAGESINCATEGORY:Fosse n° 3 - 3 bis des mines de Nœux}}. Il n'y a pas de soucis à créer des catégories avec peu d'images si le potentiel est évident (genre "Photographie en couleur de Louis XIV" n'a aucun potentiel). Par contre, ce serait vraiment bien d'importer correctement tes images (cf ici) : il y a des modèles un peu technique mais hyper utile pour que ta page de description soit traduite dans d'autres langues (en mettant {{unknown}} par exemple, cela s'affiche "inconnu" chez toi en français, mais en espagnol, en allemand, etc pour les autres contributeurs qui travaillent dans d'autres langues)--Bapti ✉ 11:10, 21 November 2010 (UTC)

Merci. Encore des façons de procéder que je ne connaissais pas du tout. Je les généraliserais sur mes fichiers. Apparemment ça pose plutôt problème pour les images anciennes, celles provenant directement de mon APN n'ont pas l'air d'avoir de problème à régler mis à part la date. {{PAGESINCATEGORY:Bassin minier du Nord-Pas-de-Calais}} ne permet pas de compter tous les fichiers présents dans les sous-catégories, mais j'ai pris ma calculatrice, et j'en suis arrivé à environ 970 fichiers concernant le Bassin minier. Dans les mois à venir, j'appliquerai les modèles sur les images déjà téléversées. Tout devant être complet d'ici début 2012 en vue de la création d'un portail sur le bassin minier. Bonjour,

En découvrant ton travail de qualité, je suis tombé sur tes conditions d'utilisation. Elles ne sont visiblement pas compatibles avec la licence que tu as choisie : en plaçant tes images dans le domaine public, tu permets à quiconque de les utiliser librement, y compris commercialement, sans avoir à te demander un accord à chaque fois. Vu la licence, un crédit avec seulement ton nom est suffisant (il n'est pas nécessaire de mentionner le domaine public et Wikimedia Commons).

Mais tu peux évidemment suggérer des conditions supplémentaires : les réutilisateurs sont incitées à les respecter mais elles n'ont aucun caractère obligatoire. Par exemple :

• Lors d'une publication sur Internet, il serait apprécié qu'un lien vers la page d'utilisateur de la Wikipédia francophone soit fait, etc.
• Il serait apprécié que toute utilisation à titre commercial (vente), ou potentiellement commerciale (c'est-à-dire entraînant au moins une transaction financière, donc toute publication papier, ou toute publication sur un site entraînant des revenus publicitaires), fasse l'objet d'une déclaration préalable auprès de JÄNNICK Jérémy. Un montant peut alors lui être versé à titre de frais de recherches.

PS : Il n'est pas possible de modifier les licences de tes images maintenant qu'elles sont importées.

Il s'agit en fait d'une transition, le lien est actuellement posté dans la boite créator, mais devrait d'ici peu passer sous la licence des nouvelles images ou vidéos téléversées en CC-by-sa, et cette page sera refaite en conséquence de la licence. Ce mois-ci est assez compliqué, puisqu'en plus de travail que j'ai sur les articles, j'ai également ça à gérer, plus des projets autour de mon travail d'historien, et futur photographe professionnel. Enfin, j'ai eu connaissance que le domaine public réel n'existerait que 70 ans après ma mort, donc, pour éviter tout malentendu, je préfère appliquer une licence d'attribution, puisque je la pratique déjà dans les faits depuis plus d'un an pour l'usage externe, d'où le caractère "très incitatif" de la mention, puisque j'ai toujours des personnes qui n'y comprennent rien, alors que j'ai déjà expliqué à plusieurs reprises. Enfin, le lien pour l'utilisation du fichier indique « Jérémy Jännick [Public domain], via Wikimedia Commons », et j'estime que le mérite de ces photos en revient aussi à Wikimedia Commons, puisque c'est grâce aux outils mis en place par la fondation que j'ai pu développer une telle photothèque. Oui, le domaine public n'est pas à proprement parler une licence libre (à long terme - 70 ans après la mort de son auteur - tout œuvre est dans le domaine public de toute façon), mais quand un utilisateur place de son vivant ses œuvres dans le domaine public, on s'en approche fortement. D'ailleurs, les Français n'ont théoriquement pas droit de placer des œuvres dans le domaine public (leurs droits d'auteurs sont en quelque sorte obligatoires), d'où la mention "Dans certains pays, ceci peut ne pas être possible ; dans ce cas : XXXX accorde à toute personne le droit d'utiliser cette œuvre dans n'importe quel but, sans aucune condition, sauf celles requises par la loi." en bas du bandeau {{PD-user}}.

Attention, la CC-BY-SA n'est pas tout à fait la même chose que la licence {{Attribution}} : disons que la CC-BY-SA est une vrai licence libre, tant que {{Attribution}} est un contrat se rapprochant des licences libres (faites ce que vous voulez de mon œuvre du moment que vous me créditez).

En tout cas, même avec une autre licence libre, tes conditions d'utilisation sont trop exigeantes : il n'est pas obligatoire par exemple de te contacter avant d'utiliser une de tes œuvres commercialement. Toutefois, il est tout à fait compréhensible que tu demandes (sans l'exiger) à ce que cela soit fait. D'ailleurs, à mon avis, tu devrais insérer ces "conseils" de réutilisation directement sur la page de description des images plutôt que dans une autre page que peu de gens doivent consulter.--Bapti ✉ 15:16, 6 January 2012 (UTC)

Dans les faits, c'est juste là au cas où, puisqu'en un an, je n'ai jamais vu aucune utilisation, qu'elle soit commerciale ou non, le sujet n'est pas très porteur non plus. Seul un site utilise mes photographies, puisque j'avais donné l'autorisation en échange de la possibilité d'utiliser toutes les informations (pas le texte, mais les données, à seul fin de compléter les articles, d'autant que je sais que le site recopie principalement trois ou quatre livres, dont un que je n'ai pas).

J'ai modifié le modèle Template:Licence Jérémy Jännick, qui contient désormais ceci : « Pour toute utilisation externe aux projets de la fondation Wikimedia, je ne peux que vous conseiller de me contacter afin de négocier les termes d'utilisation du fichier. En effet, la condition « sa » (share alike, partage des conditions initiales à l'identique) impose que toute œuvre comprenant ce fichier soit distribuée également sous licence cc-by-sa-3.0, autorisant quiconque à reproduire votre œuvre sous cette même licence. Dans ces conditions, une rétribution permet d'obtenir une licence cc-by-3.0, vous autorisant à produire votre œuvre sur une autre licence, même non libre, et me permettant de financer les inventaires photographiques du bassin minier. ». C'est effectivement bien mieux, sauf que je ne vois pas trop le rapport avec la CC-BY (qui est aussi une licence libre) : si tu places une fois une image sous CC-BY, n'importe qui peut ensuite la réutiliser sous cette licence. Si je peux me permettre un conseil, je te suggère de simplifier en "Dans ces conditions, moyennant rétribution, je peux placer l'œuvre que vous utilisez sous une autre licence, même non libre, correspondant à vos besoins." par exemple.--Bapti ✉ 15:00, 7 January 2012 (UTC)

Il s'agit d'une confusion de ma part, il faut dire que je ne suis pas très habitué à ces licences. Donc en somme, si quelqu'un utilise une de mes photographies sous licence cc-by-sa-3.0, toute son œuvre est alors sous cette licence, et elle peut être téléversée sous les mêmes conditions sur Commons ou Wikibooks ? Pas toute son œuvre, mais l'œuvre dérivée de la tienne. Par exemple, si un journaliste écrit un article et récupère une de tes photos qu'il retouche (changement de lumière, cadrage, etc) : l'image dérivée est elle-aussi sous CC-BY-SA (donc importable sur Wikimedia Commons), mais pas son article. En revanche, si l'image est sous CC-BY, l'auteur peut choisir de ne pas diffuser ses retouches sous licence libre.--Bapti ✉ 15:39, 7 January 2012 (UTC)
