Hello, Parutakupiu!
Thanks a lot for contributing to the Wikimedia Commons! Here's a tip to make your uploads more useful: Why not add some categories to describe them? This will help more people to find and use them.
Here's how:
1) If you're using the UploadWizard, you can add categories to each file when you describe it. Just click "more options" for the file and add the categories which make sense:
2) You can also pick the file from your list of uploads, edit the file description page, and manually add the category code at the end of the page.
- [[Category:Category name]]
For example, if you are uploading a diagram showing the orbits of comets, you add the following code:
- [[Category:Astronomical diagrams]]
- [[Category:Comets]]
This will make the diagram show up in the categories "Astronomical diagrams" and "Comets".
When picking categories, try to choose a specific category ("Astronomical diagrams") over a generic one ("Illustrations"). Pro-tip: The CommonSense tool can help you find the best category for your image.
Thanks again for your uploads! More information about categorization can be found in Commons:Categories, and don't hesitate to leave a note on the help desk.

[edit] Gym wheel icon
Hi, could you make an icon/pictogram to use in articles about gym wheel? ChickenFalls (talk) 07:26, 5 June 2011 (UTC)
- Hi there. Is this pictogram good for you? Parutakupiu 14:15, 5 June 2011 (UTC)
- Ah, very good! But it seems to be cut in the top and left side, is this intended? ChickenFalls (talk) 14:39, 5 June 2011 (UTC)
- Yes, I want to keep the same image size for all pictograms I make. To fit the whole wheel, I'd have to reduce the human form and it wouldn't look good. Even if the wheel is partially shown, I think it's understandable, no? Parutakupiu 15:17, 5 June 2011 (UTC)
- I think it's OK. Thanks. ChickenFalls (talk) 15:25, 5 June 2011 (UTC)
